Chili

Ingredients:

1 pound lean ground beef (or turkey)
1 (29 ounce) can crushed tomatoes
1/4 - 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
1/4 cup ketchup
1 can kidney beans, drained and rinsed
1 can mixed beans, drained and rinsed
1 1/2 cups chopped onion
1/4 cup chopped bell pepper
1/8 teaspoon ground cayenne pepper
1/2 teaspoon white sugar
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 teaspoons ground cumin
1/4 cup chili powder

Directions
  1. Place ground beef in a large, deep skillet. Cook over medium-high heat until evenly brown. Drain, and crumble.
  2. Combine all ingredients in slow cooker. Cook on low for 8 - 10 hours. Or combine all ingredients in a large pot on the stove. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low. Simmer for 1-1/2 hours.
Serve with sour cream, grated cheddar cheese, crushed tortilla chips (yum) and corn bread on the side.
